Ranch at The Rim is pleased to announce a new line of boots from Double D Ranch & Lane Boots.  The boots premiered at Denver Market in February and we believe these will be the must-have boots this fall.  Production is underway and shipments should arrive at the store this September.  We will initally carry 3 styles of the new boots:  'Ammunition', 'Glitter Gulch' and 'Prescott'. 

To better serve our customers, we are taking pre-orders for the new Double D  line of boots through our customer service department at 210-319-3001.  Details about prices and sizes can be discussed when placing your order.  Thank you for the great excitement surrounding the debut of this new line of boots.  Double D Ranch always does things First Class!  We can't wait to get these boots in the store.

Due to an epidemic in South Africa, there is a worldwide shortage of Ostrich Skins.  The Avian influenza outbreak has an estimated impact of 60% reduction of Ostrich skin availability over the past few months.  The unavailability of skins is driving the market demands to the highest prices in many years for Ostrich products.  A 35% increase in raw material prices is just the beginning of a predicted long period of increased prices for all of us.

In our western wear industry, the impact is immediate.  Ostrich skin boots and belts that we currently have in our inventory at Ranch at The Rim are very difficult to replentish, and special orders for Ostrich skin products have been suspended until the availability becomes more predictable and plentiful.  We are affected by the shortage as all western wear retailers are encountering similar difficulties, and we expect this shortage to last several months.

We understand our customers' frustration in searching for Ostrich skin boots/belts and will continue to work with our vendors in finding solutions to this issue.  Thank you for your patience.  We will keep you updated on this situation as information becomes available.

So many selections in shape, size, handles, lettering font and engraving of the board on both sides!  Over 30 shapes and sizes to chose from, with 3 different had-forged iron handles.  The perfect wedding or house warming gift.   And, how about Mother's Day that is coming up soon....

 Each board receives individual attention through our special order process.  Generally taking less than 14 days from start to delivery, our customers have been delighted with 'Maple Leaf at Home' cutting boards.

Earlier this year, a customer came to us with a request to create a matching belt for his wife's favorite pair of boots!  And when he told us 'matching', he meant the belt was to be exactly tooled as the Filigree Boots. 

Stephen Bitoni, Ranch at The Rim Manager, went to work to find the right source for this unique request.  Specifications on size, width, leather and details were agree by the customer.  Peter Main was selected to be our partner for this special order.

Along the creation process, our customer was given frequent updates and insight into the steps of the construction.   When finished, the belt was inspected one last time by all involved in the project,  and delivered to the store last week.
